Gilberto Gerali is heading back to Parma in 2015 as the manager of Parma Baseball. Gerali is a name well know in Parma, having coached there in ’96, and then again from ’07 to ’12. Gerali is considered one of the top Italian coaches, having taken teams to the finals in ’96 and ’10 (winning the IBL title in ’10). Gerali’s club also reached the finals of the European Champions Cup in ’11, where they finished as the runner up to San Marino. Gerali also has experience on the international level with the Italian National team where he was a part of Marco Mazzieri’s staff.
