“A Baseball Softball School” debuts at CON6 in Rimini

Written by experts Diego Azzolini, Simona Conti, Davide Sartini and Professor Claudio Mantovani of Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano (CONI) School of Sport, “A Baseball Softball School” will be distributed and be the topic of discussion at the CON6 Italian Baseball and Softball Convention at Palacongressi di Rimini on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 9:00 am inside Sala del Piazza. Edited by Calzetti & Mariucci, an Italian publisher specializing in sports publications, “A Baseball Softball School” was funded and organized with the support of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the CONI School of Sport, and Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS).

Considered the essential textbook used by FIBS in courses offered to teachers in both school and recreational settings, “A Baseball Softball School” is the first step in the collaboration and integration of baseball and softball in education. After several editions, revisions, and updates, the new and improved “A Baseball Softball School” is the culmination of years of experience and study. With colorful and captivating images, the 40-page publication equips instructors with the necessary skills to effectively teach the game to young students and athletes. The book will be distributed in a package which includes 12 activity exercise cards relating to motor skills and agility required to complete the lessons. The cards have a QR code which can be scanned with a smartphone to watch a video clip relating to the exercise listed. In addition, it will also be possible to view the videos via computer by using the and following the instructions contained in the manual.
