“Over all, our reforms of the European Champions Cup for 2016 and beyond have been excepted. We still have a few issues to iron out in regards to promotions and demotions among the three European tournaments, as well as the number of teams each Baseball Federation is allowed to have participate in the European Champions Cup. Also under discussion is the number of foreigners each participating club will be allowed when competing in this international event, as well as the concept of allowing European citizens to not count against the numbers when playing in a country not of their origin. We expect to come to a definitive conclusion on the structure of these tournament reforms by the middle of March.” Jan Esselman.
