In the Champions' Cup, two unbeaten Italian clubs faced off in day four in Ronchi dei Legionari, but Forli crushed rival and defending European champion Bussolengo 10-0 after four innings.  Jessica Moore would not allow a hit in four perfect innings, while Montanari would end the game in the most dramatic of ways, with a one out grand slam in the bottom of the fourth pushing the score to the run rule and walking off victors.

Forli at 7-0 remains the only unbeaten team heading into the final game with Sparks, who are tied with Bussolengo who faces 1-5 Eagles. The final games could force a three way tie for first, have the two Italian sides in the first two positions, or could see the Dutch pass them for the top spot, and all three teams assured of the top three positions, will battle fiercely on the final day of pool play.

Meanwhile in the Cup Winners' Cup in Ostava, Czech Repubblic, Legnano remained unbeated, with a 9-0 win against Mannheim and a 1-0 win against Brasschaat, and with the two wins clinched first place in Pool play even before their final game Friday.
