In honor of World Drawing Day on April 27, 2020, Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) has opened its social media channels on Instagram and Facebook to share the enthusiasm for the long-awaited return of Italian baseball and softball. During the seemingly never-ending period of quarantine, imagination and creativity are coping mechanisms to help keep us positive and upbeat that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Using the theme "Return to the diamond", FIBS invites all players, fans and members of the baseball and softball community to create and share their unique designs on their respective Instagram profiles and tagging fibs_italia. In addition, FIBS has created a special Facebook page where artists can showcase their special talents by clicking .
All submissions will be published on the various FIBS social media platforms from now until the May 8, 2020 deadline for creative entries. So get out those paints, pens, pencils, and favorite colors as we patiently await the return of Italian baseball and softball. Forza #Italia!
