The , a website dedicated to U.S. Junior College Baseball, recently revealed the and included 21-year-old Italian-born and developed catcher Giulio Monello as a member of the Second Team All-Americans. In his second year playing for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I in Texas, Giulio Monello proved his weight in gold by hitting .548 with five doubles, two triples, three home runs, eight walks, and 19 RBI.

Undefeated in conference play and 21-2 overall, the Odessa Wranglers were strong candidates to appear in the 2020 JUCO World Series, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fellow Italian teammates Daniel Monti and Maurizio Andretta contributed to the success of the Odessa Wranglers. Infielder Daniel Monti hit .333 with four doubles, one triple, one home run, four walks, and 10 RBI, while left-handed pitcher Maurizio Andretta saw limited action in four innings total with one start, six strikeouts, and four walks. Crediting coach Mauro Mazzotti for being recruited by Odessa College, Giulio Monello, Daniel Monti, and Maurizio Andretta would like very much to pursue a career playing professionally by following in the footsteps of former Wrangler and Chicago Cubs prospect Mattteo Bocchi. Forza #Italia!
