A great friend and supporter of the IABF with 15 years of MLB experience, Jeff Nelson will share his perspective on baseball today as well as some heartfelt stories about Italian American culture.

Jeff Nelson played for the Seattle Mariners (1992–1995, 2001-2003, and 2005), New York Yankees (1996–2000, and 2003), Texas Rangers (2004), and Chicago White Sox (2006). During his MLB career, he appeared in 798 games and compiled a 48-45 record. With runners in scoring position and two out, the dominant right-handed reliever held batters to a .191 batting average. Second all-time behind former Yankee teammate Mariano Rivera, Jeff Nelson made 55 post-season relief appearances with 62 strikeouts and a 2.65 ERA in 54.1 innings pitched. In addition, he is the Mariners' all-time record holder for most games pitched (383).
