Friday and Saturday the fifth week of the Italian Baseball League season will hit the diamonds of Rimini, Padova, and Bologna.
The Pirates make their home Debut as Italian Champions in Rimini, hosting Nettuno. Both teams are expected to play very similar lineups to last week.
Padova will return from their bye to host San Marino, in a series that should shed some light on the standings and playoff picture. Meanwhile for San Marino, Mauro Mazzotti will take over the role of manager for the rest of the season, and will debut new shortstop Colmenares.
Bologna looks to rebound and move up the standings as they host winless Novara, while Novara continues to creep closer to their first win of the season, and builds confidence as they look for an upset.
