Rimini making waves with the announcement of both Stefano Desimoni and Paul Macaluso. Desimoni will be heading to the Pirate Nation from his longtime squad in Parma, while Macaluso from San Marino where he played in 2014.
Desimoni will be expected to lend a helping hand to the outfield in Rimini, something that this young lefty should have no problem doing. Full of experience of which should be a key piece to the success of the Pirates in 2015 as they look to get back to the IBL Finals.
Paul Macaluso is heading to Rimini after a year spent in San Marino. Macaluso is a right handed hitting and throwing outfield who will most likely be utilized as the clubs 4th outfielder and DH. He has experience in the Italian Baseball League with Reggio Emilia, Parma and San Marino.
