Team Italy appears ready for combat in the U15 European Softball Championship after an 11-7 victory over the Dutch. Italian manager Maristella Perizzolo used pitchers Giorgia Frascaroli, Giada Cagni, Cloe Guzzon, Sabrina Bottazzi and Emma Obino to get the win. Defensively it looked like this: Anita Bissa (C), Martina Fantinati (1B), Blue Berto (2B), Caterina Turci (3B), Alida Campioni (SS), Beatrice Guarnieri (RF) , Alessandra Metta (CF) and Agata Boraso (LF).
Team Italy makes its Euro debut against Croatia on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 4.30 pm before facing the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 5 pm. The Italians will battle the top team in Group B (featuring Belgium, Great Britain, Israel and Turkey) on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 9:30 am.
