Italy puts up a fight against Cuba

The Italian National team put up a good fight against one of the World’s top clubs to close out the Premier12, however in the end they finished off their tournament winless… suffering losses to Puerto Rico, Chinese Taipei, the Netherlands, Canada and Cuba.

The Premier12 will now shift off to Japan, where the semifinals and finals will be getting underway tomorrow, the 19th, at the Tokyo Dome with a game that will feature the undefeated Japanese vs. South Korea. On the 20th it will be the USA vs. Mexico. The winner of each of these two games will move on to play the Gold Medal evening game on Saturday the 21th, while the two losers will be on the field for the bronze medal game that very same afternoon.
