The fourth annual Italian American Baseball Foundation Gala Dinner and Fundraiser for Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) promises to be the best event ever in the 501(c)(3) charity foundation’s history at Giando on the Water in Brooklyn on December 4, 2019

The fourth annual Italian American Baseball Foundation Gala Dinner and Fundraiser for Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) promises to be the best event ever in the 501(c)(3) charity foundation’s history at Giando on the Water in Brooklyn on December 4, 2019. After three successful extravaganzas at the highly-rated Carmine's Sports Bar and Restaurant, the IABF has kicked it up a notch by allowing supporters to enjoy a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline from Giando on the Water while contributing to the growth of baseball and softball in the U.S. and Italy at the fourth annual IABF Gala Dinner.

Since its inception in 2016 when the IABF honored National Baseball Hall of Famer Mike Piazza at the inaugural launch, IABF Board Members Joe Quagliano, Fabrizio De Robbio, Carmine Gangone, and Michael DeSapio have successfully attracted MLB royalty to help in their efforts to bring America and Italy closer together through sport. The fourth annual IABF Gala Dinner will be hosted by New York Mets radio announcer Wayne Randazzo, who will serve as emcee and introduce the 2019 Guest of Honor Joe Girardi and IABF Baseball Executive of the Year Natalie Spedaliere from MLB Network. Current and former MLB players including Brandon Nimmo, John Franco, Frank Catalanotto, Carl Pavano, Lee Mazzilli, and Mike Pagliarulo are expected to join the festivities.

Sports artist James Fiorentino has graciously donated his exclusive signed Joe Girardi prints to various sponsorship packages which range from $1,000 to $50,000 and include tickets to the IABF Gala Dinner, meet-and-greet opportunities with celebrities, luxury suites at New York Yankees games, and more. All proceeds from the annual fundraising dinner support youth baseball abroad by building and maintaining fields, awarding student-athletes with scholarships and financial aid, purchasing uniforms and equipment as well as organizing pitching, fielding, and hitting clinics with MLB instructors under the guidance of FIBS.
