Nettuno2 completed the two game sweep of Parma on Saturday night to move to a 2 and 2 mark on the regular season

Nettuno2 completed the two game sweep of Parma on Saturday night to move to a 2 and 2 mark on the regular season. Picking up the win for Nettuno in relief was Federico Cozzolino (1.2 innings pitched, 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts), while the save was awarded to Yuri Morellini (3.0 innings pitched, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks, 0 strikeouts). On the other side of the ball it was Yomel Rivera that suffered the loss with 6.0 innings pitched where he game up 2 runs (0 earned) on 5 hits and 4 free passes. 

Although Parma out hit Nettuno2 9 to 7, they were just not able to get the timely knocks to cross runs, leaving a total of 6 runners on the sacs throughout the course of the game. As for Nettuno2 they were able to capitalize on a couple of costly mistakes served up by Parma’s defense, crossing a run in the 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th, with the ex Parma Giannetti coming up with a solo shot in the 7th off of Spada for the 3-1 advantage.

The games between the Rimini Pirates vs. Padova, Bologna vs. San Marino and Nettuno vs. Godo were rained out. Rimini vs. Padova as well as Bologna vs. San Marino will be played tomorrow afternoon in Rimini and Bologna with the first pitch being scheduled for 3:30 pm.
