New York Mets honor IABF at Citi Field on Italian Heritage Day

The is being honored by the New York Mets as the Non-Profit of the Game at Citi Field on Mother's Day, May 12, 2019. Mothers in attendance on Italian Heritage Day will receive an Infinity Scarf, and the IABF will receive a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold through the following  by April 30.

New York Mets Italian FlagThe first 250 online buyers of tickets will also receive a free Forza Mets T-shirt at the Group Sales Redemption Booth located on the Field Level behind Section 130 through the fifth inning. Cheer on Team Italy and New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo while supporting the only 501(c)(3) charity foundation committed to developing and promoting baseball and softball in the United States and Italy.

The IABF supports both American and Italian youth baseball programs through equipment donations, clinics, camps, individual training and scholarships. First pitch to the Miami Marlins is set for 1:10 pm so get to the ballpark early to catch all the Italian Heritage Day pregame festivities including a National Anthem performance by Sal Valentinetti from "The Voice" at Citi Field.
