The two teams just recently disappointed in the Champions' Cup both rebounded dominantly, as Bussolengo and Forli each won the first two games of their semi-final series.

Bussolengo started it against Staranzano with an amazing no-hitter by Aimee Creger, who was one hit batter away from a perfect game.  Cuban starter Anisley Lopez would give up three runs in the sixth inning, with three singles, a fielder's choice, a wild pitch, and a double.  In game 2, Bussolengo scored single runs in the second, third, and fourth innings, before a four run explosion in the fifth pushed the score to 7-0, and Lisa Birocci would give up only two hits while blanking the Stars.

Meanwhile, despite only two hits, Forlì managed to win game one 3-2, with two runs in the fourth on a bases loaded hit by pitch and a walk, and then after Bollate tied it in the top of the sixth, Forlì got an Emily Vincent homerun for their second and final hit of the game, for the decisive run, who also pitched a complete game nine strikeout victory, whiel Greta Cecchetti took the tough loss.  Game two was again a close battle, but with the same outcome, as Forli broke up a 1-1 tie with two runs int the fifth inning, highlighted by a two run single by Montanari, and Ilaria Cacciamani struck out nine and gave up only two hits for the victory.
