Team Italy captain Erika Piancastelli interviewed by Softball America

With the Team Italy softball squad resuming activities after an extensive lockdown period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, captain Erika Piancastelli recently gave an nine and a half minute interview to lead editor Kayla Lombardo. During the discussion, the Azzurre softball slugger talks about following in her mother's footsteps by representing Team Italy in the Olympics, her family's influence on her softball career, playing away from home as an All-American at McNeese State University in Louisiana, and participating in the inaugural six-week softball season for  beginning August 17, 2020 at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois.
