The 31st edition of Haarlem Baseball Week 2024 will feature a clash between Euro rivals Team Italy and Kingdom of the Netherlands on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 7:30 pm (local time) at Pim Mulier Stadion in Haarlem. The week-long international tournament takes place from July 12-19, 2024. It is the only scheduled competition for the Azzurri Elite baseball squad and is the first test for the Club Italia LA28 project, which is the group of Olympic prospects striving to qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
After the Italians battle the Dutch, Team Italy will then play games on the following respective days against USA, Spain, Japan and Chinese Taipei before entering the semifinals or being relegated to the 5th-6th place final. The Haarlem Week 2024 championship final and bronze medal game as well as the nostalgic Old Stars contest are scheduled to take place on Friday, July 19th.
