Team Italy roster revealed for U12 European Baseball Championship in Trebic, Czech Republic from July 2-6, 2019
Team Italy U12 manager Stefano Burato has announced the names of his 18 Azzurrini players and two reserves for the U12 European Baseball Championship in Trebic, Czech Republic from July 2-6, 2019. Reigning Euro Champion Team Italy kicks off evening tournament action under the lights when the Azzurrini face Belgium on Tuesday, July 2 at 6 pm (local time). The Italian squad returns for an afternoon game against France on Wednesday, July 3 at 3 pm (local time). Team Italy concludes Pool A play with a battle against the Netherlands on Thursday, July 4 at 3 pm (local time). The top two teams in Pool A will compete against the best two teams from Pool B (Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and Russia) in the semifinals on Friday, July 5. The U12 European Baseball Championship final will take place on Saturday, July 6 at 5 pm (local time).
Skipper Stefano Burato will be assisted by coaches Simona Conti, Marco Bortolotti, Ivano Licciardi, and pitching coach Alessandro Rosa Colombo.
