One of 235 father and son duos to play in Major League Baseball, Sal and Drew Butera are just one of three father and son combos to each win a World Series title. In fact, the Butera baseball family made their mark in the MLB history books as the first father and son position player duo to pitch in a Big League game. In addition, father Sal served as Team Italy coach in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, while son Drew played for Team Italy in the 2013 and 2107 World Baseball Classics.
