Team Italy softball manager Enrico Obletter summons Senior and U19 Junior players for Saronno Spring Training from March 24-28, 2019

After competing in the Asia Pacific Cup and the Summer Slam - Fully Loaded Softball competition at Blacktown International Sports Park in Sydney, Australia, Team Italy players will reunite for the first time in nearly two months for softball spring training camp in Saronno from March 24-28, 2019

After competing in the Asia Pacific Cup and the Summer Slam - Fully Loaded Softball competition at Blacktown International Sports Park in Sydney, Australia, Team Italy players will reunite for the first time in nearly two months for softball spring training camp in Saronno from March 24-28, 2019.Team Italy U19 Euro Champions (Andrian/FIBS) Under the watchful eye of manager Enrico Obletter, the Team Italy U19 Junior players will gather for four days of intense training, development and practice in anticipation of the U19 Women's Softball World Cup from August 11-17, 2019 in Irvine, California. In addition, the Team Italy U19 Juniors will play a doubleheader against the Peruvian National Softball Team on March 27, 2019 beginning at 1 pm.

The Team Italy Senior softball squad will make use of the spring training camp to prepare for the European Softball Championship from June 30-July 6, 2019 in Ostrava, Frydek Mistek, Czech Republic and Rybnik, Zory, Poland. The top six finishers of the European Championship and the top two softball teams in Africa will compete in the Europe/Africa Softball Olympic Qualifier in Utrecht, Netherlands from July 23-29, 2019 for one spot to the 2020 Olympic Games. The Team Italy Seniors will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills with a pair of exhibition games against the Peruvian National Softball Team on March 27 at 1 pm and again on March 28 at 5 pm. Italian skipper Enrico Obletter knows the value of spring training camp and the importance of high-pressure game situations to prepare the Juniors for the U19 Women's Softball World Cup and at the same time put the Seniors in the right mindset to qualify for the 2020 Olympics.
