Team Italy U18 manager John Cortese and Italian seniors national pitching coach Bill Holmberg have summoned 21 of the most promising youth pitchers and catchers for an intensive one-day training camp in Godo on September 1, 2020. The Team Italy U18 squad is gearing up for, which is set to take place September 30-October 3, 2020. The international tourney in the Czech Republic will provide Team Italy the opportunity to prepare for the 2021 U18 European Baseball Championship on their home turf in Macerata.
Team Italy U18 skipper John Cortese and technical director Bill Holmberg will be assisted in Godo by coaches Mario Da Re and Gianluca Marenghi, hitting coach Stefano Cappuccini, pitching coach Luis Hernandez, athletic trainer Daniele Santolupo, physiotherapist Massimo Baldi and delegation manager Fabrizio De Robbio.
