Team Italy U18 manager John Cortese has selected 31 players for a one-day training camp at Campo di Marte's Stadio Pierpaolo Cesare Vita in Firenze on September 9, 2020. The Azzurri Juniors are preparing for Prague Baseball Week, which is set to take place September 30-October 3, 2020. The international tourney in the Czech Republic provides the Italian U18 squad a chance to tune up prior to the 2021 U18 European Baseball Championship in Macerata, Italy.
Team Italy U18 skipper John Cortese will be assisted in Firenze by hitting coach Stefano Cappuccini, coaches Mario Da Re and Gianluca Marenghi, pitching coach Luis Hernandez, athletic trainer Daniele Santolupo, physiotherapist Graziano Abbate, and delegation manager Fabrizio De Robbio.
