Originally scheduled to be led by pitcher Aleshia Ocasio, who was second on the leaderboard with 970 points before taking an indefinite leave of absence due to a family emergency, Team Ocasio now becomes Team Piancastelli. Without Aleshia Ocasio on the pitcher's mound, Orange team captain Erika Piancastelli made the first trade in Athletes Unlimited history when sending outfielder Emily Crane to Team Sanders in exchange for pitcher Karissa Hovinga.
