After two successful Steel Sports Family Days in Florence and Potenza Picena, Mike Piazza and the Steel Sports coaching staff make their third appearance at the home of the Fovea Embers, Comunale di via Gramsci, on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Participation, as always, is completely free and open to boys and girls, from any location, born in 2009 or later, in good standing with the 2024 membership, for whom the parents (or those exercising parental authority) have duly completed, signed electronically and sent, no later than 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the form available at the link below, accompanied by a valid medical certificate of competitive fitness which, alternatively, can be shown upon arrival at the field, during registration.
Coaches regularly registered for 2024 who wish to be present are also welcome.
Steel Sports, Team Partner of the FIBS National Teams, which aims to spread among coaches, players and their families, the philosophy of teaching the game of the great Tommy Lasorda: ‘Kids First’, the kids first of all, and all three components are fundamental for the growth of young athletes in a positive and stimulating environment.
Moms and dads are therefore invited to attend, participate and wear comfortable clothing, preparing for a fun day to spend with their kids and their coaches, between grass and red clay.
Together with Team Italy manager Mike Piazza, the Steel Sports ambassadors of the CNT Salvatore Strippoli and Graziano Primavera will be present, together with the coaches Alfredo Strippoli (Head of Under 12 Foggia), Valerio Iacovelli (Hitting Coach Foggia), Daniele Spinapolice (Active school and mini baseball), Franco Giangola (Head of youth activities Chieti), Freddy Pacheco (Pitching Coach Foggia), Massimo Portoghese (Manager Bari Warriors) and Maurizio Faini (Teramano Baseball Project) who will support them, for a program dedicated to the baseball/softball categories from U12 to U18 which includes:

11:30 am Field activity divided into stations
1:00 pm Lunch break
2:00 pm Steel Sports meets the families, the players meet Mike Piazza. Questions, answers, autographs
2:30 pm Muscle toning
3:00 pm Mini-matches with parent involvement
4:30 pm Final thoughts before departure!
