The 2015 Angel Service Nettuno 2

Just as every other club in the Italian Baseball League, Nettuno 2 said goodbye to a number of names off their 2014 roster. Seven names in all decided to change colors this season, beginning with P - Pizziconi, SS - Martone, OF - Sellaroli G., 2B - Sellaroi A, P - Richetti, 1B Pedroso, and OF - Fhurong. The reinforcements that were selected to take the place of the seven that departed include a number of names that are well know across the league, especially with Nettuno 2’s first opponent of the season, T&A San Marino. Three names in all wore T&A’s colors in 2014, pitchers Milvio Andreozzi and Valerio Simone as well as the backstop / outfielder Mattia Reginato, which should make this an interesting first encounter of the season. The other names on the list of newbies include two names off of Parma’s 2014 postseason roster, C - Osman Marval and OF / 3B - Stefano Giannetti, as well as INF - Lino Zappone (Foggia in 2014), P - Yuri Morellini (Nettuno in 2014) and INF - Josè Flores (Aguilas Zulia in 2014). This group of new ‘Gamers’ should make for an interesting season, maybe even interesting enough for a postseason birth… Games one and two on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 pm in Rome.
