Tiago Da Silva continues to impress as he can now claim fame to being a member of the 2015 Venezuelan Winter League Championship Club, the Caribes de Anzoategui.

T&A San Marino’s ex right handed hurler has been making a name for himself over the past two years after he began to open the eyes of the baseball world wearing team Italy’s colors at the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Since then he took home his 3rd consecutive IBL title with San Marino in 2013, moved onto the 2013/2014 Venezuelan Winter League with the Leones de Caracas, earned a AAA contract in the Mexican League with the Delfines de Ciudad del Carmen where he finished off the 2014 season with impressive 29 saves, and finally found himself back in Venezuela for the 2014/2015 Winter League where he’s club (Caribes de Anzoategui) just this past week took home the League Championship title in front of 20,000 plus spectators. What’s next for Tiago in 2015? Well with the news of his continued success, Da Silva was offered a minor league contract in affiliated ball with the Toronto Blue Jays organization, making 2015 a potential story book year for this now well known righty.
