The rain partially ruined the sixth week of the Italian Softball League that however seemed to be the official start of first place teams Bollate and Bussolengo pulling away from the pack in their respective divisions.

In Girone A, Rhibo was rained out against Sardegna, and Caronno and Legnano split their series including a rain shortened game, while Bollate crushed Saronno twice to remain undefeated and start to make the regular season look like a three-way battle for second place and a three-way battle to stay out of last place until any team can knock off leaders.

In Girone B, Bussolengo completed the sweep of Thunders, solidifying their hold on first place. Forli tried to keep pace with a dominant win over Sestese in game 1, before game 2 was rained out, while Bologna and Staranzano's split sees both teams fall further behind the leaders.  Both Forli and idle Collecchio are still on the heels of Bussolengo, and can take advantage of the top team being idle to gain ground with strong showings next weekend.
