This weekend’s big matchup looks to be the one between UnipolSai Bologna and Nettuno down in Rome on Friday and Saturday evenings. Above all it looks to be an extremely important matchup for Nettuno who is looking to keep place with the top four clubs in the league, with a chance at a postseason birth. On Friday evening look for it to be a matchup of the two club’s foreigners, with Fleming going for Bologna, and Estrada for Nettuno. When in comes to the Italian matchup on Saturday evening look for DeSantis to get the call for Bologna and the youngster, Ciarla for Nettuno. On Bologna’s side they are going to have to do without the likes of their centerfielder, Paolino Ambrosino in game one… who will be serving a one game suspension.

Next up is the home-away two game series between the Rimini Pirates and the Godo Knights. This series will get underway on Friday evening in Rimini with Candelario getting the call for Rimini, while it will be Uviedo for the Knights. When the series shifts to Godo on Saturday evening it will be Galeotti on the rubber for Godo, while Bertolini is expected to get the nod for the Pirates. Expect Rimini to keep their eye on the prize, especially after seeing Godo take a game away from Bologna just a week ago in an upset.

In San Marino on Friday evening look for T&A to do their best at bouncing back against Parma after getting swept just a week ago against Padova… This two game series will get going in San Marino on Friday before shifting up to Parma on Saturday evening. Getting the call for T&A on Saturday should be the southpaw, Rodney Rodriguez for San Marino, while on Parma’s side of the ball Jimenez will get the nod, backed up by Acosta and Camacho. In Saturday’s game in Parma if Rivera isn't able to go for Parma look for Spada to go head-to-head with Pizziconi for San Marino.

Lastly, up in Padova it will be Tommasin Padova welcoming in Nettuno2 for a two game set, with Padova looking to keep a strong grasp on their positioning in the standings. Going for Padova on Friday evening will be Quevedo, matching up with Gonzalez for Nettuno2. On Saturday evening it with be Crepaldi for Padova, going up against Andreozzi for Nettuno2.

All games are scheduled to get underway at 8:30 pm on both Friday and Saturday, and can be followed live on .
