Having received extensive training for three years while enrolled at the FIBS AcademyOscar Tucci went on to represent Team Italy in the 2017 WBSC U18 World Championship in Thunder Bay, Canada and in the 2018 U18 European Baseball Championship in Grosseto. The promising pitcher 18-year-old left-handed pitcher grew up to love the game while playing for Chieti Baseball as a youth. For the past two years, the Abruzzo-native has been pitching for the Macerata Angels in Italy's Serie A2 League. During the 2018 season, he threw 62.1 innings with 54 strikeouts in 13 starts (5-3, 2.17 ERA).
