Enegan Grosseto took the Series A Finals over Ronchi dei Legionari three games to none. The decisive game three was taken in comeback fashion by the final of 5 to 3 after Ronchi wasn’t able to hold onto the 3-1 lead. Grosseto scored 4 runs in the 9th off of Alessandro Petralia (the New Black Panters of Ronchi de Legionari’s closer) to take the 5-3 lead and eventually the series.
With the Series A Finals win, Grosseto now joins Reggio Emilia (2), Arezzo, and Padova as winners of the Italian Federal League’s Series A since the formula was changed back in 2010.
