Rimini has officially added both Carlos Richetti and Filippo Bertolini to their roster for the 2015 Italian Baseball League season. Richetti is well known amongst the IBL teams having played for Anzio, Nettuno, Bologna, and Nettuno2. In 2014 with Nettuno2 Richetti posted a 2.88 ERA in 34.1 innings pitched, with a total of 35 strikeouts. Richetti also has a number of presences with the Italian National Baseball Team.
Rimini’s other new acquisition, Filippo Bertolini, has experience in the IBL with Reggio Emilia in both 2009 and 2013. In 2014 Bertolini pitched in Series A with Piacenza where he posted a 1.67 ERA in 91.1 innings pitched.
