Rimini has officially picked up Victor Moreno (right handed pitcher) for 2015. Moreno is well know in the Italian Baseball League having pitched for Fortitudo Bologna from 2009 to 2011, where he racked up a total of 6 wins, 1 loss, 19 saves and 188 K’s in 123.1 innings pitched. Moreno has AAA experience in the states with the Minnesota Twins, the Oakland Athletics and the Baltimore Orioles. Since 2012 Moreno has been in the Mexican AAA league where he pitched for Monclova (3.08 ERA, 69 saves).
Rimini also announced that left handed pitcher, Josè Escalona will once again suit up in the Pirates black and orange colors for the second consecutive season.
