Team Italy roster revealed for U18 European Baseball Championship in Regensburg

Azzurri manager Guglielmo Trinci has selected 20 players to represent Team Italy in the U18 European Baseball Championship in Regensburg, Germany from July 8-14, 2024.

After a final workout in Verona on Saturday, June 29, 2024, Team Italy will begins its journey to participate in an international pre-Euro tournament before the official start of the U18 European Baseball Championship in Regensburg, Germany from July 8-14, 2024. In addition to the 20 players selected, three reserves have been named to remain at home in case of need.   

Team Italy U18 manager Guglielmo Trinci said, “We have the best players at the moment. The last minute additions are catcher Ricardo Staurenghi, who has lived in the Dominican Republic for the last two seasons, and Filippo Baldassari, a pitcher who participated in the last workout after returning from college."

The following players will represent Team Italy:
