The Italian National Baseball Team will be leaving for Taiwan, today, October the 24th, in light of their early preparations for the inaugural premier 12. Italy is ranked number 11 on the list of the 12 participating nations. The 28 names on manager, Marco Mazzieri’s initial roster included:

Pitchers: (13) Corradini (Rimini), Coveri (San Marino), Filippo Crepaldi (Fortitudo BO), Fracchiolla (Legionaere Ratisbona-Germania), Lugo (A+ Cleveland Indians), Maestri (Oryx Buffaloes-NPB), Nielsen (A+ St. Louis Cardinals), Oberto (San Marino), Panerati (Fortitudo BO), Andrea Pizziconi (San Marino), Richetti (Rimini), Rivera (Parma), Teran (San Marino)

Official practices will begin on the 26th, with their opening game scheudeld for the 10th against Puerto Rico at the Intercontinental stadium in Taichung.
