Team Italy reveals U22 Women’s European Softball Championship roster

Azzurre manager Federico Pizzolini has announced the names of the 17 players that will represent Team Italy at the U22 Women’s European Softball Championship in Kutno, Poland from August 5-10, 2024

Defending Champion Team Italy (2022 and 2018) will attempt to win its third U22 Women’s European Softball Championship title in Kutno, Poland from August 5-10, 2024. Italian softball skipper Federico Pizzolini will be assisted by coaches Dante Di Lauro and Stefania Vitaliani, pitching coach Nancy Evans, team physician Dr. Matteo Tancredi, physiotherapist Federico Frassine and delegation manager Isabella Dalbesio.

Team Italy has been placed in Group X with France, Great Britain and Germany. The top three finishers in Group X along with the winner of Group A (Austria, Belgium, Croatia and Finland) will advance to the Super Round. In addition, the top three teams from Group Y (Czech Republic, Ireland, the Netherlands and Ukraine) along with the winner of Group B (Denmark, Israel, Poland and Switzerland) will also advance to the Super Round.
