As the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals approach (July 15-20, Castions di Strada), refund policies for tickets purchased in the event of postponement, failure to play or change of location of games have been announced.
Below are the case-by-case details:
- If even just one game of the day begins, no refund will be given.
- If the entire day is postponed, a full refund will be given.
- Based on any postponement of the game days, due to the postponement of one or more of them, the ticket remains valid for the day indicated on the ticket (example: DAY 4 - July 18 is postponed. Ticket holders for July 18 will be entitled to a refund. DAY 4 is moved to July 19, the day of the semi-finals. Those who purchased DAY 5 will therefore no longer see the semi-finals but DAY 4).
- The only exception to the provisions of the previous point concerns the postponement of DAY 6 only, so it will be possible, as it is the last day of competitions, to maintain the validity of the ticket for the following day.
- Any games/rescheduled games moved to the Buttrio facility will be played behind closed doors and tickets are non-refundable (they will be played at the Buttrio facility only if two days of games are postponed).
