Team Italy U18 manager Guglielmo Trinci was pleased with his young and talented squad’s fifth consecutive victory over host Germany at the Armin Wolf Arena in Regensburg on Friday, July 12, 2024. The Azzurri have outscored their opponents 42-4 so far in the U18 European Baseball Championship.
Team Italy offensive highlights included a two-run home run from Mattia Bernardis and a strong performance at the plate by Luca Magnani (2-for-3 with one run scored). Daniele Di Persia also collected a single and RBI via walk.
