Getting started with the series between the Rimini Pirates and UnipolSai Bologna. The game tonight in Rimini will be getting underway at 9 pm local time, and should feature the likes of Candelario for the Pirates vs. Fleming for UnipolSai. The other two starters that each club will be offering up over the weekend will be Richetti and Escalona for the Pirates and De Santis and Rivero for UnipolSai. Friday’s game 2 will be held in Bologna, while Saturday’s game 3 will be back in Rimini. Look for Di Fabio and Cit to get some extra time over this three game set, with both Zileri and Macaluso fighting injury. Also, look for Nacar, Rimini’s newest acquisition, to make an appearance or two out of the pen. On Bologna’s side, look for Rodriguez to be used in limited action behind the dish, making room for some extra playing time for Sabbatani.

In the three game set between T&A San Marino and Tommasin Padova look for Berg to get the nod tonight in Padova for T&A, while on Padova’s side it should be Quevedo. When the series shifts to San Marino on Friday evening look for either Faccini or Crepaldi to get the nod for Padova, and for Oberto to go for San Marino. In the series finale on Saturday in Padova, Yourfrank Lopez will go for the home team, faced off with the southpaw Rodney Rodriguez for T&A San Marino. Out of action for the remainder of the season for Padova is their foreign cacher, Alvarez, while T&A San Marino will have to do without Teran (muscle problems) in the bullpen.
