Prior to the final meeting in Verona on June 29, 2024, the U18 Team Italy baseball squad will battle Godo on Tuesday, June 18th and Modena on Wednesday, June 19th to prepare for the U18 European Baseball Championship in Regensburg, Germany from July 8-14, 2024. Team Italy U18 manager Guglielmo Trinci has selected 23 players for the exhibition games. New faces include Ricardo Staurenghi, who has been living and playing in the Dominican Republic for a couple of years, and George Green, who grew up in the Catalan Alghero and trained at the Francisco Cervelli YMCA Academy in Grosseto.
