Team Italy settles for silver medal as bad weather cancels U15 European Softball Championship final

The Czech Republic was declared the Gold Medal winner in the U15 European Softball Championship final in Prague since the Czechs had defeated the Italians earlier in the tourney

Team Italy settled for the U15 European Softball Championship Silver Medal on Saturday, July 6, 2024 a heavy downpour of rain at Svoboda Park in Prague, Czech Republic forced the Gold Medal game to be canceled and the Czechs to be crowned the champion. The Italians lost to the host country 7-4 on July 4, 2024. However, there is silver lining to this story as both Team Italy and the Czech Republic automatically qualify for the 2025 U15 Softball World Cup as the European representatives.
