Alex Liddi In front of the hometown crowd at Taiwan's Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium on May 3, 2019, Chinatrust Brothers' third baseman Alex Liddi hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to beat the Latigo Monkeys 10-9 and become the Most Valuable Player of the game. He homered in back-to-back games on May 2 and 3 to keep the hot Chinese Brothers' winning streak alive (currently at six). In 54 at-bats this season, Alex Liddi has a .276 batting average and a .574 slugging percentage with four doubles and four home runs. He has fast become a fan favorite with autograph seekers lining up at the stadium for their chance to meet the first Italian-born and developed player to make it to MLB (Seattle Mariners, 2011).
