Aldo Koutsoyanopulos said, "We are going to teach the students about the rules of baseball and how to play the game. We will be teaching everything in English, but they can ask questions in Italian if they are unable to do so in English." In fact, the free two-hour educational program will culminate with all participants playing a real live baseball game after warm-ups and practice throwing, catching, and hitting. All ages are welcome, and inexperienced players are encouraged to attend the Saturday morning baseball class.

"Stefano Desimoni and I volunteered last year, and it went well. We had around 30 people show up in street clothes ready to learn about the game and excited to play baseball," said Parma Clima fan favorite Aldo Koutsoyanopulos. This year it is expected that the number of participants on Saturday morning at Parma's Nino Cavalli Stadium could double or even triple based on volume of inquiries and confirmed students so far.

An MVP at Capistrano Valley High School who went on to play collegiate baseball at California State University Stanislaus, Orange County's Aldo Koutsoyanopulos is more than qualified to become a bonfide baseball and ESL instructor. Italian-born and developed teammate Stefano Desimoni serves as a personal trainer at Go Athletic Studio Parma and helps keep students at My English School Parma physically fit. Both players are fluent in Italian and English as they have represented Team Italy internationally. Although walk-ups to the Saturday morning baseball class are welcome, advance registration is encouraged by clicking on the or facebook pages. Forza #Italia! #LetsMakeItHappen
