The 2015 UnipolSai Bologna

In 2015 Bologna will without a doubt have a repeat at the top of their agenda, back to back Italian Baseball League titles, something that this organization has yet to accomplish. With the departure of six names off their 2014 championship roster (Malengo, D’Amico, Barbaresi, Baez, Oeltjen, and Williamson), Bologna had to call in a couple of replacements. New to Nanni’s club for the 2015 Italian Baseball League will be the well known 1st Baseman - Alex Sambucci (Parma in 2014), Outfielder - Alex Russo (Castelfranco Veneto in 2014), Pitcher - Paolo Cadoni Pietro (Godo in 2014), 3rd Baseman - Cesar Suarez (Tabasco in 2014) and Pitcher - Marquis Fleming (Saltdogs in 2014). The core group looks to be as solid as ever, with Vaglio (2nd Baseman), Claudio Liverziani (Right Fielder), Ambrosino (Center Fielder), Rodriguez Guillermo (Catcher), Raul Rivero (Pitcher) and DeSantis (Pitcher) being the major retuning names to take note of when they take the field this Friday (8:30 pm in Bologna) and Saturday (8:30 pm in Padova) evening for games one and two of the Italian Baseball League’s regular season against Tommasin Padova.
