The IBL teams are warming up

The Italian Baseball League (IBL) Spring Training lived the first full week end

The Italian Baseball League (IBL) Spring Training lived the first full week end. The IBL teams played against teams of the Serie A Minor League. The only team that was forced to cancel (due to weather) is T&A San Marino, that had scheduled a friendly match with Godo Knights.

Fortitudo Bologna had a pretty easy afternoon and outscored (25-0) the Imola Redskins. Filippo Crepaldi took the field for the first time after being hit by a line drive during the Fall Asia Winter League.
Bologna will play on March 23 against the Nuova Pianorese team.

Parma won (13-1) a 12 inning game against Collecchio and showed some pop, collecting 18 hits. Santana, Petralia, Uviedo, Sanchez and Gonzalez took the mound.
Parma will play the german BundesLiga Paderborn Untouchables on Friday March 25.

The defending champion Rimini played and won a 10 inning game against the Macerata Angels. Cherubini, Rivera, Corradini and Di Raffaele took the mound and the line up combined 16 hits.

Tommasin Padova won both games of a doubleheader against New Black Panthers Ronchi dei Legionari. Alvarez, Medoro and Sciacca showed some power at bat and every pitcher in the staff got a 2 inning outing.
Padova will host Rimini for a doubleheader on March 26.

Nettuno Baseball City played against Anzio in games that won't go on record beacuase neither team cared about the final score. Still, it was a good chance for pitchers Andreozzi, Simone, Cozzolino, Taschini, Morellini and Rodo to get their feet wet.

Novara won (11-6) a 12 inning game against Milano-Senago and will play the Stoccarda Reds on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 March.
