The Premier12’s first round to be played in Taichung and Taipei

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has officially announced that the first round of this year’s inaugural Premier12 Baseball tournament will play 29 of the 30 first round games in Taichung (Taiwan) and Taipei (Taiwan)

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has officially announced that the first round of this year’s inaugural Premier12 Baseball tournament will play 29 of the 30 first round games in Taichung (Taiwan) and Taipei (Taiwan). This press release comes after the organizers reviled earlier last week that the tournament’s semifinals and finals will take place at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.

The twelve qualified nations for the inaugural Premier 12 in 2015 are (WBSC World Rank): No. 1 Japan, No. 2 USA, No. 3 Cuba, No. 4 Chinese Taipei, No. 5 Netherlands, No. 6 Dominican Republic, No. 7 Canada, No. 8 South Korea, No. 9 Puerto Rico, No. 10 Venezuela, No. 11 Italy and No. 12. Mexico.
