U16 Women's European Softball Championship schedule announced for Team Italy

The European Softball Federation (ESF) has revealed the schedule for Team Italy in the U16 Women's European Softball Championship, which takes place in Zagreb, Croatia from July 29 - August 3, 2019. Under the guidance of manager Giulio Brusa, the young Azzurre women's softball squad has been placed in Group C along with France, Slovakia and Turkey. Group A includes host Croatia, Great Britain, and the Czech Republic. Germany, Russia, Belgium and Hungary make up Group B, while Group D consists of reigning Euro champion the Netherlands as well as Ukraine, and Poland. The Czech Republic took the silver medal, and Team Italy brought home the bronze in the 2017 U16 Euros. Since then, the talented Azzurre U16 women's softball squad has shown its resiliency by winning the International Joudrs Cup. Team Italy kicks off the 2019 U16 European Softball Championship on July 29 with an early morning game at 9 am against France and then returns for an afternoon battle at 3:15 pm against Turkey.
