Rimini’s road to the 2014 Italian Baseball series got a little bit more complicated last night after they dropped a huge game to Lino’s Coffee Parma on their own turf. 6 to 1 was the final score in this one as Rimini ran into an impressive Josè Sanchez who went 7 innings for the win before handing the ball over to Toledo who came on for the save. Suffering the loss for Rimini in his second outing of the year was Gonzales, as he and reliever Marquez allowed a combined 6 runs off of 12 hits and 5 walks. This three game set will shift to Parma this evening before moving back to Rimini for game three on Saturday evening.
