Italy will be hosting four major international softball tournaments beginning with the European Softball Championship from July 4-10, 2021 in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Last July, Team Italy won both the 2019 Euro Championship and the Europe-Africa Softball Olympic Qualifier for the opportunity to compete in the upcoming Tokyo Summer Olympics from July 23-August 8, 2021.

The ever-popular European Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy tourney will take place from August 11-14, 2021 in Collecchio. Italy 1 defeated the London Cubs (Great Britain) 11-0 in the Sport Division Final to place first, while Italy 2 lost to Moscovia (Russia) 10-5 in the battle for the bronze to place fourth on August 17, 2019.

The Women's European Premiere Cup is scheduled for August 16-21, 2021 in Friuli-Buttrio. Italian softball squads have dominated the last editions of the international tournament. Bollate won the 2019 Women's European Premiere Cup, while Bussolengo took home the prize in 2017.

The Women's European Cup Winners Cup will be played August 16-21, 2021 in Saronno. Forli won the Women's European Cup Winners Cup Championship title in Prague, Czech Republic on August 24, 2019. Forza #Italia!
